2022 Base Camp Campout

Posted on May 18, 2022 by Troop Historian

As usual the camp started on Friday and ended on Sunday. The camp lasted from March 18-20. The Quackins, Black Cobras, Gardners, and Devines all slept in adirondacks and there were 3 in tents.
Friday there was a flag retirement and a thunderstorm. There was also a raccoon attack at night to the tenters. Saturday the camp woke up and made bacon, hash brown, and egg sandwich. Then the scouts went to the giant gravel hill next to the camp and then took a hike to the lake. After that they made ham and cheese sandwiches and relaxed. Before dinner the Quackens went fishing and surprised everyone by catching 2 fish. For dinner they made walking tacos and then went to bed with only one tent left. Sunday everyone packed up and left tired hoping to relax after a long weekend.
