My day started at 5:30 AM when the scouts in the text next door started chatting. I didn’t know I could whisper so loud, or so Mr. Wagner told me. I’m not sure why they were up, I can only guess it was the excitement to go eat breakfast.
The official start of the day was at 6:30 when a neighboring troop played reveille on their bugle. The scouts jumped out of bed [NOT] and got ready for breakfast.
After a full day of activities, merit badges, and looking for cairns, we ate lunch.
After lunch, the scouts did more stuff and we sat down to dinner.
After dinner, we had a pool party and enjoyed a snack.
So basically, when arriving on Wednesday for family night, bring their Thanksgiving pants and baggy shirts for the scouts to wear.
