The MOE district Cub Scout Day Camp is still looking for volunteers for the upcoming camp July 5th-11th. Both adult and youth are needed. Youth staff needs to be 14 years old and a First Class rank to stay on-site without an adult. Volunteers can earn over 50 service hours by staying all week.
This is a lot of fun, but it is work. During the day, staff will be working with the Cub Scouts and helping out at various stations. At night, there is cleaning to be done and preparing things for the next day. BUT, there is also time to run around, make friends, play games, swim parties and more!
If you have any questions, ask either Nathan Craig or Eric Walters, who were both on staff last year. Mr. Walters also has applications at meetings for those who want them.
