A few Scouts went to assist with the United Disability Services Camp today. We were split into groups and some scouts helped make crafts, some helped making tie-dyed bags and others helped with life jackets and assisting with a pontoon boat ride.
After crafts, there was a flag burning ceremony with the campers all helping out.
Dinner was served and then the scouts, along with Mr. Reed and Mr. Lewis, put on a scout campfire skit and song show. The campers loved singing along and generally being silly.
And after everything was finished, we were treated to ice cream at Pav’s.
Thank you to Mr. Lewis for arranging for us to help out. I think we can all say that we had a wonderful time.
