The Third Day’s Battles

And on the third day, the Troop rested. But not until we broke camp at 9am, toured Eisenhower’s Farm, jogged 2 miles to see a sharpshooter demonstration, climbed an observation tower at the top of a hill in a rainstorm (not really, I just looked like I did because I was soaking wet), hiked an additional 1.5 miles, toured the National Cemetery, found Nixon’s grandfather’s grave, and ate lunch. I’m exhausted just from typing it all, let alone doing it all.

We packed up from lunch in the parking lot and left Gettysburg at 2:30 to see the Flight 93 Memorial.
